Wi-Tronix, LLC says it has signed a contract with Co-Operative Bulk Handling (CBH), an Australian grain logistics co-operative, to provide locomotive remote monitoring and hosting services.
The Wi-Tronix array of mobile asset management tools, integration experience, and customer service will be integrated with CBH assets in Australia, employing state-of-the-art technology, Bolingbrook, Ill.-based Wi-Tronix says.
The Wi-Tronix system will provide CBH with a suite of tools that allow ready access to on-board data. With the contract, CBH will utilize Wi-Tronix's products and services to remotely access real-time data of its fleet, Wi-Tronix says. CBH can maximize fuel efficiency and asset utilization through fuel conservation monitoring and improved fleet productivity.
In addition, CBH will be able to wirelessly access and download on-board data from locomotives using the Wi-Downloader™, Wi-Tronix says.
