“When companies compete for passengers, the “feel-good factor” is often what makes that all-important difference, and offering rail catering services and onboard comfort provides the key to success,” says InnoTrans organizers. “International exhibitors in these areas will be an even greater focus of trade show visitors because of our new Travel Catering & Comfort Services theme route.”
“Travel Catering & Comfort Services is a topic that is attracting increasing interest at InnoTrans,” organizers note. ‘The world’s leading trade fair for transport technology offers companies in this field the best possible environment for intensifying their business activities on the rail market. In particular, they can benefit from direct contact with their main target audiences—international transport companies and rail vehicle manufacturers. Among those who have already announced their participation in InnoTrans 2014 are Kelox, Kiesel, and Iacobucci, all specialists in onboard galley equipment.
Taking part for the second time is LSG Sky Chefs, a global company that is one of the largest providers of catering and onboard services. Also taking part in the next InnoTrans is Multi Rail a company from Italy and a manufacturer of turnkey solutions for dining cars, bars, and galley equipment. Commenting on the company’s participation in InnoTrans 2014, Alice Doro, marketing manager of Multi Rail, said, “Taking part in such an important event guarantees that our quality products will be highly visible to the international market and our customers.”
InnoTrans takes place every two years in Berlin. At the 2012 event, 2,515 companies from 49 countries presented their rail industry innovations to 126,110 trade visitors who came from 140 countries. The five segments at InnoTrans are Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors, and Tunnel Construction. InnoTrans is organised by Messe Berlin GmbH.
