Isselmann joined Greenbrier in 2012 as Director of Corporate Relations and Communications. Since then he has taken on increased responsibility for other programs like Greenbrier’s companywide security program. In 2013, he was promoted to Vice President, External Affairs & Communications “in part to recognize his role developing and advancing Greenbrier’s public safety efforts related to its Tank Car of the Future,” the company said.
Isselmann, who reports to Chairman and CEO William A. Furman and works closely with other senior staff members, interfaces with Greenbrier’s legal department on select compliance and regulatory matters. He continues management of the company’s government and community relations, corporate security, and corporate communications. He is a former partner at Portland, Ore.-based law firm Tonkon Torp LLP.
“I am pleased to recognize Jack’s contributions at Greenbrier with this advancement,” said Furman. “We recently completed a year of record performance, with more growth on the horizon, and this has required everyone at Greenbrier to extend their range of responsibilities. As we execute our ongoing plans to expand, I appreciate Jack’s willingness to accept new responsibilities and I look forward to his further contributions to Greenbrier.”
