Thales Chairman and CEO Jean-Bernard Levy has tendered his resignation to the company's Board of Directors, ending a stint at the helm of the company that began in 2012.
The Board, in praising Levy, cited his "implementation of a shared strategic ambition in order to return to profitable growth." The Board also praised the results obtained in emerging markets as well as in terms of financial performance.
The Board accepted the resignation at its scheduled meeting on Nov. 27, 2014. It appointed M. Philippe Logak as acting chairman and CEO of Thales until a permanent successor can be identified.
