Menches named WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff communications chief

WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff named Jayanti Menches Director of Communications for the combined company’s U.S./Central and South America region.

In her new position, Menches will oversee all internal and external communications activities for the region, including media relations, advertising, social media, website, Intranet, video production, and publications, as well as management of the firm’s corporate identity, reputation, and brand. She is based in Parsons Brinckerhoff’s New York City office.

Menches has more than 25 years of global communications and marketing experience. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, she was director of marketing at Triple Canopy, a global security, support, training, and advisory company. Previously, she served as an independent marketing communications consultant in Hong Kong, providing support for marketing and media relations campaigns within the technology, government, broadcast, human resources, financial, and media sectors. She also served as Manager, Marketing & Communications at Teleglobe Communications Corp., a global telecommunications company offering voice, data, and mobile signaling services.

Menches received an M.S. in mass communications from San Diego State University and a B.A. in psychology from the American University in Cairo, Egypt. She is a member of the American Marketing Association and the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), serving on the board of directors for IABC’s New Jersey chapter.
