The Canadian Association of Railway Suppliers (CARS) has announced the election of Paul Brum, Gord Strilchuk and Scott Diercks to its Board of Directors.
Paul Brum, President and CEO of Universal Rail Systems, brings 30 years of railway experience and stands at the helm of his team and a cross section of Canada’s most visible and prominent railway construction projects.
Gord Strilchuk is Senior Vice President and Chief Technical Officer for the PNR RailWorks Signals & Communications Division, which performs construction, installation and maintenance of railway signals and communication equipment across Canada.
Scott Diercks is Director of Marketing and Business Development at Loram Maintenance of Way. He has more than 20 years of progressively responsible experience in the rail industry.
In addition, CARS has elected three new Officers—Paul Nimigon as President, and Mario Peloquin and Doug Reece as Vice Presidents.
Paul Nimigon is Vice President of Rail Transportation for MMM Group Ltd. He joined MMM in July 2005 as a partner and has more than 39 years of experience with Canadian Pacific Railway, CANAC Inc. and MMM Group.
Mario Peloquin is Vice President of Transformation for Thales Canada Transportation Solutions. He has worked in the transit and rail industry for more than 30 years.
Doug Reece is Director of Marketing and Business Development at Procor Limited. He has many years of rail industry experience.
