American Business Research, Inc. (ABR) has launched its new High Speed Railway Division to bring ABR’s years of experience developing high-speed railroads to the United States, the company announced on July 1, 2015.
The division aims to expand ABR’s presence in several U.S. states where high-speed railroad and infrastructure development are currently in advanced planning stages, including Florida. ABR’s new division will be positioned to provide assistance to the local and federal governmental agencies as well as private companies with a wide range of specialized services connected to speed railroad development, the company says.
“High-speed rail networks are in active operations in more than 20 countries of the world, and have been in development in a handful more countries, but have virtually no presence in the United States,” said ABR’s President Eric Goodis.
“High-speed trains are among the leading achievements of transportation engineering and have proved over many years to be the best form of transportation ever created. We have managed to advance the greatness of the speed rail network in many parts of the world and America deserves to have the best of the best. WE estimate that in the next four to six years, Florida, and possibly some other states, will lead the U.S. in having the fastest, most convenient, and ecologically cleanest high-speed railroad transportation network,” Goodis said.
“For over 20 years, ABR’s unique industry’s position is the result of its extensive experience with infrastructure construction projects which include construction of high-speed railroads, bridges, tunnels, viaducts, airports and runaways, as well as the development of carriageways and motorways on road corridors,” Goodis added.
ABR’s U.S. High Speed Railway Division will operate out of the company’s New York-based headquarters
