Atlanta, Ga.-based Predikto, Inc., announced Oct. 27, 2015 the opening of its first European office located in Vilvoorde, Belgium, and the expansion of its worldwide team to “meet rapidly growing demand for industrial-scale predictive analytics that can help global industrial and transportation organizations capitalize on the explosion of data driven by the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).”
Software industry veteran Carl Fransman has been appointed as Managing Director, EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa), bringing over a decade of experience growing and managing European operations for early stage software companies. Most recently Fransman managed EMEA for MCA Solutions, a leading supplier of supply chain planning software, which was acquired by Servigistics, now part of Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC). Joining him is Philippe Thys, Director of Solutions and Innovation for Predikto. Philippe is a former technology and solutions executive with respected software companies like i2 Technologies and MCA Solutions.
"European companies are enthusiastically embracing the advent of the IIoT," said Mario Montag, Founder and CEO of Predikto. "Our robust offering is built to process high volume, ‘big data’ from diverse sources, including Asset Management or MRO systems, telematics and avionics systems, as well as sensors and environmental information, and give our customers a more accurate, actionable insight into asset and component reliability. We’re delighted to have Carl and Philippe on our team.”
Fransman commented, “With the growing popularity of servitization, forward-thinking companies want better insight into equipment performance and value delivered to their customers. Predikto’s capabilities are tailor-made to meet this need.”
Predikto software is used by Global 1000 companies to gain insight into future asset reliability and availability, identify events and trends which could lead to outright equipment failure, and enable users to anticipate potential service interruptions before they occur. Predikto’s Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery model is a readily deployable, easily scalable solution and can be implemented in weeks.
The company recently announced $3.6 Million in Series A Funding and a partnership with New York Air Brake’s (NYAB) Train Control Technology. In recent case studies, Predikto has saved rail carriers more than $13 million per year by reducing false-alarm trips and proved 90% accuracy predicting battery failure for a Tier 1 supplier, the company says.
