CN President and CEO Claude Mongeau has returned to work after fully recovering from a surgical procedure and will lead the company’s Jan. 26, 2015 earnings call to discuss fourth-quarter and full-year 2015 financial results.
Mongeau underwent surgery late last year to remove a rare type of precancerous soft-tissue tumor located in the upper left part of his larynx, followed by targeted radiation therapy to completely cure the illness so the tumor does not recur in the future. Though he remained engaged with CN business as President and CEO, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Luc Jobin ran the railroad during his recovery.
