Davy Leung has been named a senior principal technical specialist in the Orange, California office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization.
In his new position, Mr. Leung will be responsible for radio frequency product and system design, integration, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of advanced wireless communications and control systems in the railroad and transit industries. He will focus on tunnel and in-building communications system design, wide-area radio system design and implementation, and advanced radio solutions for wireless train control systems.
Mr. Leung brings more than 30 years of experience in the field of wireless and radio systems to this role. Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was a senior telecommunications engineer in an international company specializing in advanced technology for railway and urban transport.
A licensed professional engineer in British Columbia (B.C.), Canada, Mr. Leung earned a master’s degree in engineering from Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, B.C., and a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. His professional affiliations include membership in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.
