Gulf & Ohio Railways announced Jan. 11 that Michael Wester joined the company on Jan. 2, 2017.
Mr. Wester has dual roles as the Director of Purchasing and Logistics at Knoxville Locomotive Works, Inc. and the Vice President Strategic Planning for Gulf & Ohio Railways, Inc.
He was previously President of the RJ Corman Railroad Company overseeing the Short Lines, Switching Company, and Railpower Locomotives. He has also worked as a Division Superintendent with Norfolk Southern. He attended Harvard Business School and the University of Tennessee.
